NGC 7293, better known as the Helix nebula, is the nearest example of a planetary nebula, which is the eventual fate of a star, like our own Sun, as it approaches the end of its life. As it runs out of fuel, the star expels its outer envelope of gas outward to form a nebula like the Helix.

Society often blurs the lines between drag queens and trans women. This is highly problematic, because many people believe that, like drag queens, trans women go home, take off their wigs and chest plates, and walk around as men. Trans womanhood is not a performance or costume.

The Dumbbell Nebula aka M27 is a planetary nebula, the type of nebula our Sun will produce when nuclear fusion stops in its core. M27 is one of the brightest planetary nebulae in the sky, and can be seen toward the constellation of the Fox (Vulpecula) with binoculars. It takes light about 1,000 years to reach us from M27, shown above in colors emitted by hydrogen and oxygen.

Stars are colossal fusion reactors, burning hydrogen into helium. As the nuclei fuse lighter elements into heavier elements, massive amounts of energy are released. A new game sets you the task of nucleosynthesis, building hydrogen into iron, and it’s surprisingly fun."The game is a stellar variant of 2048, where you fuse elements together along the reaction pathways that power stars." Reminds me instantly of another artist that we know who you may have heard of as Amir is my BFF! Similar but not identical, while Amir has a more quirky way with his work, Sara is more complex as she is able to set a mood and tone to her work, little touches like that can make a huge difference.
